The President’s Club: A Tradition of Recognition at Cook’s Pest Control

At Cook’s Pest Control, hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

For more than 20 years, the company has recognized employees who go above and beyond through its President’s Club, an elite annual rewards program for top-performing sales professionals, technicians, consultants, inspectors, managers, and office specialists.

What began as a simple idea in 2004 has grown into one of Cook’s most anticipated traditions and a reflection of the company’s commitment to investing in its people.

A Tradition Built on Recognition

The President’s Club was established in 2004 to recognize employees who consistently exceed expectations and contribute to the company’s success.

That first year, 81 employees qualified for the program. Today, more than 260 employees earn President’s Club status annually, reflecting both Cook’s growth and the dedication of its team members.

More than two decades later, the program remains one of the company’s highest honors.

What Is the President’s Club?

The President’s Club is Cook’s premier employee recognition program.

Each year, employees must meet the company’s sales, service, or management goals to qualify. Membership is earned through performance and represents a significant achievement among peers across the organization.

President’s Club members receive:

  • Recognition at the annual Keystone Awards Dinner
  • A President’s Club medallion
  • An all-expenses-paid cruise for themselves and a guest
  • Paid time away to participate in the trip
  • Company-wide recognition among peers and leadership

The Keystone Awards Dinner

Each year, President’s Club members are honored during the Keystone Awards Dinner, one of Cook’s signature company events.

Often described as the “Academy Awards of Pest Control,” the evening recognizes employees who have demonstrated outstanding performance and leadership throughout the year.

In addition to President’s Club inductees, Keystone Awards are presented to top consultants, managers, sales specialists, and team members who exemplify Cook’s values and commitment to excellence.

A Reward Worth Celebrating

One of the most anticipated benefits of the President’s Club is the annual trip awarded to qualifying employees and a guest.

The experience has continued to grow over the years. In 2025, Cook’s celebrated its first-ever seven-day President’s Club Cruise, taking employees and their guests to:

  • Cozumel, Mexico
  • Mahogany Bay, Honduras
  • Belize City, Belize

The tradition continues in 2026 with planned stops in:

  • Mexico
  • George Town, Grand Cayman
  • Jamaica

What makes the trip even more meaningful is that employees do not have to use PTO to participate. It’s time dedicated to celebrating their accomplishments with the people who matter most.

Why It Matters

The President’s Club reflects something larger than an annual awards program.

It demonstrates Cook’s belief that hard work should be recognized and that employees should have opportunities to grow, achieve goals, and share in the company’s success.

For prospective team members, it’s one example of how Cook’s invests in employee development and creates opportunities for achievement throughout a career.
